**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC Press Brake (Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf). The role involves sheet metal fabrication, forming, and bending of sheet metal, and operating various manufacturing machines such as press brakes and laser machines. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC Press Brake machines (Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf). + Perform sheet metal fabrication including forming, bending, and shaping. + Operate additional manufacturing equipment including punch presses and laser machines. + Read and understand specification sheets, blueprints, and work orders. + Layout and load materials using basic math and handheld measuring tools. + Enter instructions into machines, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches. + Set up and maintain mills and lathes. + Maintain machines in good working order and perform lockout/tagout procedures as necessary. + Understand and implement re-work procedures and finished product characteristics. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years manufacturing experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment. + Experience with metalworking and hollow metal fabrication. + Proficiency with CNC manufacturing equipment. + Dexterity with basic power tools and machinery. + Ability to read and understand blueprints, specification sheets, and work orders. + Ability to layout and load materials using basic math and handheld measuring tools. + Ability to utilize computer output from CAD/CAM systems. + Knowledge of machine maintenance and lockout/tagout procedures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with re-work procedures. + Understanding of finished product characteristics. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position where you are treated as a permanent employee from day one.
