Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and packaging products as they come off the press, performing various tasks to support press operations, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the pressroom. This position requires mechanical aptitude, hand dexterity, and the ability to stand for extended periods.
Second Shift: 4pm-12:30am with additional overtime
ResponsibilitiesInspect product as it comes off the press at maximum press speeds.Package product as it comes off the press at maximum press speeds.Wash and maintain ink pumps, ink trays, and chamber blade units.Clean and lubricate portable press accessories such as fanfolders, sheeter tables, and turret rewinders.Perform general pressroom housekeeping and cleaning tasks.Assist press operators with wash-up and set-up tasks.Cut cores as needed.Perform any other tasks as requested by the Press Operator or Supervisor.Essential SkillsMechanical inclination and hand dexterity.Ability to read and write.Basic computer skills for data input and reading.Stamina to stand all day and perform essential tasks.Ability to lift 25-30 lbs.Desire to grow and advance within the company.High School diploma or GED.Experience in manufacturing and machine operation.Experience in set-ups and adjustments.If interested book a meeting with Sarah!Book time to meet with mePay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
