**Job Title: Clean Room Assembler** **Job Description** We are an electronic automotive manufacturer located in St. Charles, IL, specializing in the production and distribution of OEM electronic parts for the automotive industry. We supply major automotive manufacturers such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Ford, Chrysler, Jeep, Hyundai, and more. Our state-of-the-art cleanroom environment is where we manufacture parts such as power window switches, push-to-start buttons, power seat controls, and car entertainment consoles with AC/Heat controls. **Responsibilities** + Work from specific verbal and/or written instructions and standard work instructions. + Make routine adjustments/setups of equipment for defined and measurable variables such as length, temperature, or process speed. + Load raw materials into the machine, complete minor changeovers, monitor machine operations, and inspect completed parts to ensure job specifications are maintained. + Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift. + Maintain activity logs. + Participate in cross-training activities with other related positions. + Support and participate in the company's management and quality system, including continuous improvement efforts. + Notify group leader or supervisor of any problems or non-conforming product. + Support and implement the Environmental policy as it pertains to work activities. + Perform other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the activities enumerated above. + Stand for the entirety of the 8-hour shift. + Identify visual defects with excellent visual acuity and handle small components with manual dexterity. + Lift materials weighing mostly under fifteen pounds. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of previous production, inspection, or machine operating experience. + Ability to read, write, and speak English. + Comfortable standing for 8 hours a day. + Comfortable working in a GMP environment and wearing a hair net and gown. + Great attendance and a proven track record (validated via reference). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2+ years of manufacturing operating experience. + Previous experience working within the automotive industry. **Why Work Here?** The work environment is fantastic, offering a state-of-the-art cleanroom that is meticulously clean, organized, climate-controlled, and well-lit. The production area, which includes the PSS, ECU, and SMT departments, requires adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) by wearing a gown, hair net, and shoe covers for each shift. Long sleeves and appropriate pants are required, and no jewelry is allowed while working in production. The warehouse area, including shipping, receiving, and material management departments, does not require adherence to GMP protocol but does require steel toe shoes. Both production and warehouse areas are clean, organized, and climate-controlled workspaces, with the production area resembling a sterile, sanitary hospital environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
