**Machine Operator ($22-24/hr.)!** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our team. This position involves working in the molding, mixing, and calendar departments on the afternoon shift from 2:48 PM to 11:00 PM. You will be responsible for operating presses, lifting materials, performing quality inspections, and ensuring a clean work environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate presses and other machinery in the molding department. + Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. + Visually inspect products for quality assurance. + Load and unload rubber into the machine. + Stand at one machine for the majority of the shift, performing repetitive tasks. + Reach into machines to load and unload products, often handling items of awkward sizes. + Transport materials to the next station in the manufacturing process. + Complete production tickets, press production sheets, and downtime sheets. + Pickup and sweep scrap materials. + Set up and operate mixing equipment. + Load and unload materials into the milling machine. + Produce and prep raw materials based on batch tickets. + Utilize a computer to check scales, loaders, mills, and vacuum hoist. + Perform inspection of materials for defects and inconsistencies. + Drive tow motors. + Maintain a clean work environment by sweeping and cleaning. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. + Experience in a non-temperature controlled environment. + Experience reading and following work instructions. + Willingness to work up to 60 hours a week. + Must not have facial piercings, or they must be removed. + Possess steel toe boots. + At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing and machine operating. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience operating milling machines and presses. + Experience with quality assurance and inspection processes. + Familiarity with computer systems for checking scales and equipment. **Why Work Here?** We offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus, competitive pay rates, and 80 hours of PTO in the first year, prorated based on your start date. The presses operate at 300 degrees in a non-temperature controlled environment, making it very hot despite fans running 24/7.
