Our client, a company that specializes in manufacturing furniture is looking to hire a Machine Operator (Roto and Foam) for their location in Fitchburg, MA. The ideal candidate will need the ability to read basic instructions, rules, etc., and to write legibly for purposes of maintaining logs, recording production, etc. Under the direction of the Roto Foam Supervisor, the Roto/Foam Operator performs tasks of substantial variety and complexity requiring a masterly knowledge of and extreme accuracy and caution in the set up and operation of equipment and machines in the Roto and Foam area.

The Day-to-Day:

Operation of the Roto and Foam machines.Set up and shut down of the roto oven.Keeps Roto/Foam areas clean, safe, and organized at all times.Move stock to and from the machine as required.

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaMachine Operator skills are requiredBasic math skills.Ability to read equipment meters and set dials.Requires walking, standing, bending, and ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. in an industrial environment – loud machine noises, heat, dust, and vibration.

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$17.50 to $18.50 /hrMonday to Friday6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
