**Machine Operator** **Job Description** As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for operating and understanding various packaging machinery including palletizers, strapping machines, wrapping machines, forklifts, and managing overflow production. You will perform short cycle, repetitive, and control operations of equipment to maintain high-quality output and set patterns of products. Additionally, you will inspect for quality defects, perform minor adjustments to machinery, and maintain standard production objectives. Housekeeping of assigned areas is also a key responsibility. **Responsibilities** + Operate packaging machinery including palletizers, strapping machines, wrapping machines, and forklifts. + Perform short cycle, repetitive, and control operations of production equipment. + Maintain set patterns of products to ensure high-quality output. + Inspect products for quality defects. + Perform minor adjustments to machinery as needed. + Maintain standard production objectives. + Keep assigned areas clean and organized. **Essential Skills** + Experience in manufacturing or industrial work (2+ years). + Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull over 50 lbs. + Capability to stand, walk, and move for 12 hours. + Willingness to learn how to drive a forklift and obtain certification. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in production, general labor, packaging, inspection, machine operation, and assembly. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a long-term opportunity with a national company that values its employees.
