**Now Hiring Machine Operator in York, PA!** Growth Opporunity! Shift: 3rd Shift 11p-7a Pay Range: $18.50-20.50/hr **Job Description** Operating in the finishing area, candidates will be working on slitter machines. Job duties will include checking for print and seam quality, removing defective material, splicing the roll web back together, handling rolls, palletizing them once finished, and looking for any seam-related defects. Additionally, recording and entering data on designated paperwork and participating in special projects are required. **Responsibilities** + Continuously check for print and seam quality. + Remove defective material and splice the roll web back together per specifications. + Utilize tools such as a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during the splicing procedure and as necessary. + Handle rolls and palletize them once finished. + Look for any seam-related defects. + Record and enter data on designated paperwork and in the company operation system. + Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Prior machine operating experience and basic troubleshooting skills. + Motivated individuals with common sense. + Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and division. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. + Ability to follow instructions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in production and machine operation. + Data entry skills. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.50/hr.
