**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We have immediate openings for machine operators/button pushers. No specific machine operation or stamping press experience is required, but candidates must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for operating one of the 20 presses, working in teams of up to four. Your duties will include placing raw materials on the press and using a sensor to ensure safety during operation. After a part is processed, you will visually inspect it and use a gauge to ensure it meets specifications. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 45 lbs + Wearing steel-toed boots + Steady job history **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Steel/stamping experience + Any press operation experience **Why Work Here?** We offer a laid-back culture where teamwork is essential. The company supports work-life balance with a four-day workweek. **3:30pm - 2:00am (Monday - Thursday), occasional Friday's depending on work load but they do pride themselves on 4 10 hour days.** **Will train on days from 5am-3:30pm for 3-6 weeks.** **Pay:** **- $18.48/hour.** **- $0.65 shift bonus ($19.13) for 90 days and then $1.00 ($19.48) shift bonus once they are hired by us.** **- .25 cent attendance bonus if they work with their full schedule for that week** **Work Environment** Our facility supports the automotive and heavy equipment industries, including heavy trucks and caterpillars. The environment is loud and not temperature controlled, so it can get hot in the summer. The culture is laid-back, and jeans and steel-toed boots are the standard attire. We are a UAW Union shop, though joining the union is not mandatory. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of **Bluffton, Indiana.** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.32 - $17.97/hr.
