Job Summary:
We are seeking an entry-level Machine Operator with preferred experience or
interest in the Aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in
operating and maintaining equipment to ensure maximum equipment uptime. This
individual will assist in performing Electro-Mechanical troubleshooting, repairs,
and maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

Rate: Hourly rates are determined based on
experience. Option for direct deposits weekly through Aerotek.

Day to Day:
Assist in basic electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to identify problems in non-functioning equipment used in the manufacturing process.Follow layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, or test and diagnostic equipment to dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment under supervision.Support the rebuilding of manufacturing equipment and perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.Ensure the quality of work meets customer satisfaction by following established guidelines and protocols.Communicate effectively with machine manufacturers, parts suppliers, and sub-contractors under the guidance of senior team members.Assist in managing parts orders with suppliers and oversee machine sub-contractors to ensure they meet safety requirements and company protocols.Perform routine maintenance activities for all equipment to ensure efficiency and reduce downtime, including daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual tasks.Maintain relationships with key third-party vendors and OEM manufacturers to identify critical spare parts for key equipment under the direction of senior staff.
Skills Required:
1-2 years of operating mechanical or electrical machinery.Good attitude and willingness to learnInterest in Aerospace and working with electro-mechanical machinery/equipment.Proficient with hand-held mechanical and power tools and test equipment.Ability to comprehend OSHA standards in regard to performing work duties.Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required. Ability to work overtime when needed.Effective multitasking, prioritization, and attention to detail.Demonstrate teamwork and the ability to operate on diverse project teams with moderate direction.Aerospace industry experience (nice to have).Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
