The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining turret punch press machines to produce high-quality metal parts according to specifications. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate turret punch press machines to punch holes or layout marks in metal sheets, plates, strips, or bars. + Follow charts and blueprints to set machine parameters for each cut. + Insert, align, and secure punches and dies in the turret using appropriate tools. + Position and clamp workpieces on the machine table manually or using a crane. + Perform frequent quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications. + Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of the turret press machine. + Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly production targets. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED equivalent. + Previous experience operating turret punch press machines or similar equipment. + Strong understanding of tooling procedures and blueprint reading. + Proficiency in shop mathematics and CNC programming. + Ability to lift heavy loads and work on your feet for extended periods. + Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. + Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. **Starting Pay:** + $18 per hour **Benefits:** + Competitive salary + Health, dental, and vision insurance + Retirement plan + Paid time off + Opportunities for career advancement **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
