**Job Description**
The role of a Machine Operator involves supporting the manufacturing process by prepping, trimming, loading/unloading, and packaging materials. This is the second to last stage of production, requiring close attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards. The position supports a highly empowered team focused on delivering excellent safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency results while continuously improving production processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Meet safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency standards.
+ Follow documented standard work instructions and procedures.
+ Run and set up processes and equipment.
+ Perform product inspection.
+ Collect data from process and complete paperwork with production information.
+ Use computer to collect required production data.
+ Support 5S in assigned production area.
+ Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
+ Communicate information and ideas clearly.
+ Assist production continuous improvement efforts.
+ Perform work as assigned by supervisor/lead.
+ Perform simple equipment maintenance.
+ Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
+ Assist with troubleshooting and resolving machine issues.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or G.E.D.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
+ Highly dependable with the ability to report on-time to start of working shifts.
+ Attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Ability to work in a team environment.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00/hr.
