Weekend Shift: Friday through Sunday (5am-5:30pm)

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Machine Operator, you will be at the heart of the production process, ensuring machines run efficiently and safely. Your key responsibilities will include:

?? Machine Setup & Operation

Set up machines (recipes, changeovers) for production runs

Control and adjust machine settings, including speed

Load and stage raw materials for semi-automated machines

?? Quality & Production Control

Complete all required production and quality paperwork

Troubleshoot machine issues and escalate to lead or supervisor as necessary

Record the number of approved and defective units or final products

Keep work area clean, organized, and well-maintained

?? Inventory & Safety

Maintain accurate inventory consumption and assist in inventory counts

Complete all required safety and quality training, including LOTO and GMPs

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

?? Basic Education & Skills

High School Diploma or GED

Basic math skills for calculations

Strong verbal communication skills

Ability to follow written procedures

?? Experience & Certifications

Knowledge of GMP standards

Up to 3 months of on-the-job training

This position requires physical agility and a strong safety mindset:

?? Physical Requirements

Ability to operate machinery and equipment for long periods

Must be able to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to work in a noisy, hot, humid environment and occasionally slippery floors

Exposure to moving mechanical parts and varying weather conditions

Requires keen awareness of your surroundings and safety practices
