Job Description

We are seeking a Machine Operator Assistant for the first shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining industrial machinery in a production setting. This role ensures smooth operations by following safety guidelines, performing routine maintenance checks, and troubleshooting minor issues to meet production goals. Tasks may include loading raw materials, monitoring machine performance, and performing quality control checks.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate industrial machines according to established procedures.Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain proper operation.Load and unload raw materials into machines, ensuring proper feed and alignment.Monitor machine performance and conduct quality control checks.Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues.Identify and resolve basic machine malfunctions, reporting complex issues to maintenance personnel.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude and basic understanding of machine operations.Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.Physical ability to lift and maneuver materials.Basic math skills for calculations and measurements.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints (depending on the role).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in production, machine operation, assembly, and general labor.Familiarity with hand tools, packaging, and palletizing.Experience with corrugated materials.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00
