ResponsibilitiesLearn to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of converting equipment.Effectively learn and apply established quality control procedures.Execute position responsibilities as they pertain to the assigned work center.Read and follow order specification documents.Consistently work to develop or enhance skill set.Effectively work with co-workers and establish a team approach to achieve company goals and expectations.Follow all company rules and policies.Successfully work in multiple areas of the converting plant and be able to perform to expectations.Essential SkillsAbility to read and write in English.Mechanically inclined and able to learn new skills within a standard timeline.Comfortable around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.Mentally and physically perform at a high pace with a sense of urgency while maintaining company expectations of Safety, Quality, and Productivity.Basic Math knowledge and ability to read a tape measure.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work overtime.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be at least 18 years old.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Must pass drug screen and physical abilities test.Manufacturing experience and good tenure, or good tenure in a physical job.Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs at times.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role is based in a very large facility that can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The day shift runs from Monday to Thursday with 10-hour shifts, and mandatory overtime on Fridays occasionally (60% of the year). The facility houses advanced machinery including a 112\" Multiflute Corrugator, 62\" Single Face Laminator, 3 Rotary Die Cutters, 3 Flexo Folder Gluers, 2 Platten Diecutters, and 4 Specialty Folder Gluers. The environment is fast-paced, and teamwork is highly emphasized. The dress code requires safety-toe boots (STB).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, Washington.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr.
