ResponsibilitiesLearn to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of converting equipment.Effectively learn and apply established quality control procedures.Execute position responsibilities as they pertain to the assigned work center.Read and follow order specification documents.Consistently develop or enhance skill sets.Work effectively with co-workers to achieve company goals and expectations.Follow all company rules and policies.Successfully work in multiple areas of the converting plant and perform to expectations.Essential SkillsAbility to read and write English.Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn new skills within a standard timeline.Comfortable around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.Ability to perform mentally and physically at a high pace with a strong sense of urgency.Basic math knowledge and the ability to read a tape measure.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work overtime.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be at least 18 years old.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Authorized to work in the U.S.Must pass a drug screen and physical abilities test.Previous manufacturing experience and good tenure in a physical job.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility is large and can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Employees must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. The day shift operates Monday through Thursday with 10-hour shifts, with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays. Our machinery includes 112\" Multiflute Corrugator, 62\" Single Face Laminator, Rotary Die Cutters, Flexo Folder Gluers, Platten Diecutters, and Specialty Folder Gluers. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, Washington.
