**Job Title: Machine Operator Assistant** **Job Description** As a Machine Operator Assistant, you will support the production process by loading cheese rolls onto the table, rolling fruit onto the cheese, and sending it through the machine for packaging. You will also ensure that cheese is properly placed in film packaging and loaded into boxes. Once boxes are filled, you will lift them onto a pallet. This position focuses on assisting with the production of goat cheese. **Responsibilities** + Load cheese rolls onto the table. + Roll fruit onto the cheese. + Send the cheese and fruit through the packaging machine. + Ensure cheese is properly placed in film packaging. + Load packaged cheese into boxes. + Lift filled boxes onto pallets. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of consistent work history in packaging, warehouse associate roles involving moving packages or loading and unloading boxes. + Experience in production, general labor, packaging, and machine operation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + GMP experience is preferred but not required. + Consistent work history in labor-intensive, repetitive jobs. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that is expanding in the South Milwaukee area and offers competitive pay for the work required. Overtime is available on Friday nights with a week's notice, typically every other week. The facility maintains a temperature of 55 degrees. Dress code includes closed-toe shoes, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and pants. All PPE and uniforms, including hair nets, beard nets, shoe covers, smocks, bump caps, and gloves, are supplied.
