**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are hiring for multiple Machine Operator positions for a rubber manufacturing facility **Responsibilities** + Work in the molding department operating presses. + Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. + Visually inspect products for quality assurance. + Load and unload rubber into the machine. + Stand at one machine for the majority of the shift performing repetitive tasks. + Reach into machines to load and unload products, which can be awkward due to the product and machine length. + Use hands frequently for loading products, lifting, and packaging products of awkward sizes. + Transport material to the next station in the manufacturing process. + Complete production tickets and press production sheets. + Complete downtime sheets. + Pick up and sweep scrap. + Stand, walk, bend, and twist for more than 80% of the workday. + Set up and operate mixing equipment. + Load and unload materials into the milling machine. + Produce and prep raw material based on batch tickets. + Utilize computers to check scales, loaders, mills, and vacuum hoists. + Inspect material for defects and inconsistencies. + Complete documentation and paperwork. + Drive a tow motor. + Maintain a clean work environment by sweeping and cleaning. **Essential Skills** + Experience reading work instructions. + Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. + Willingness to work in a non-temperature controlled environment. + Open to working 60 hours a week. + At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing + Must have steel toe boots. **Why Work Here?** Join a supportive work environment with competitive pay rates and a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid out in increments.
