Job Description
Operators are responsible for ensuring efficient and safe machine operation, producing high-quality products, and finishing product packaging. Duties include inspecting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, completing paperwork and data entry, assisting in packaging areas, and cross-training on other machine operation tasks. Regular communication with other operators, quality techs, and the area supervisor is required to ensure smooth operations.
ResponsibilitiesOperate state-of-the-art equipment that processes and packages beverages in both cans and bottles.Work with others to produce quality products that meet our customer’s needs.Troubleshoot equipment and collaborate with others to eliminate inefficiencies in the manufacturing process.Change over and adjust equipment between production runs.Accurately create and consume inventory in an inventory management system.Operate a forklift or pallet jack to move pallets of raw material.Sanitize the plant and equipment.Assist with performing quality checks on the products.Keep the area clean and organized.Attend production meetings.Complete necessary paperwork.Troubleshoot and communicate issues that occur with the process or equipment.Utilize computer skills to work in the ERP system and other necessary programs.Assist in other parts of the facility as needed.Follow food safety/regulatory policies and procedures, execute responsibilities as identified in standard operating procedures, and report food safety/regulatory concerns to the Production or Quality Manager.Essential Skills2+ years of machine operating experience in a production environmentAbility to frequently lift up to 60 lbsTroubleshootingHigh-speed productionPreventative maintenanceAdditional Skills & QualificationsPrior food production experience preferred, but not requiredGeneral laborMixingProductionFood handlingBatchingCalipersAssemblyInspectionHand and power toolsForkliftComputer skillsProgrammingWhy Work Here?
Direct hire with a full benefits package, including 3 weeks of vacation (pro-rated based on start date). There is significant advancement potential, with levels ranging from $22.71 to $29.05. Advancement is skill-based, allowing candidates to move up quickly as they learn new tasks and skill levels. An attendance incentive of an additional $3 per hour is available.
Work Environment
Horseshoe is a state-of-the-art facility built in 2018. The machines, forklifts, and conveyors are virtually brand new. The facility is well-lit, not dark or gloomy, and is meticulously kept clean.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $47236.00 - $47236.00
Attendance Incentive: $3/hr increase
Eligibility Requirements:
*30 days of employment
*On time to start and punching in from breaks
*Does not leave early or call in
**This is per pay period. If they are sick for a day, they will not receive the additional $3 for that pay period, but will be eligible on the next pay period.
**Approved PTO does not make them lose eligibility.
