**Machine Operator** **Job Description** Candidates will operate compounding extrusion machines that are used to extrude polymer. Other objectives include becoming cross-functional in other areas and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The setup will involve loading and unloading spools of material from the machines. Assisting packagers with packaging of cartridges while machines are still running is also required. Candidates will lift up to 20 lbs on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs on a periodic basis. **Responsibilities** + Operate compounding extrusion machines used to extrude polymer. + Become cross-functional in other areas to enhance overall team efficiency. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. + Load and unload spools of material from the machines. + Assist packagers with packaging cartridges while machines are running. + Lift up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs periodically. **Essential Skills** + Experience in operating extrusion machines. + Ability to operate single screw extrusion machines with minimal direction. + At least 1 year of experience in a machine operation role. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a production environment. + Ability to operate machinery efficiently. **Why Work Here?** Health benefits start on day 1 when converted to full time.
