Machine Operator I - 3rd Shift Westminster, CO (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1100+West+120th+Ave+Westminster+CO+USA+80234) Description OVERVIEW Cadrex is searching for a Machine Operator I - 3rd Shift to operate machines according to program and product specifications to produce small to medium sized components either as a finished product or as part of another larger product to be assembled. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Operates injection molding machines to produce production parts and assemblies + Visually inspects parts for cosmetic defects + Packages parts per work instructions + Operates hand-held tools, electrical tools, and/or pneumatic tools + Operates lift equipment as needed + Verifies accuracy of completed product or batch inspections as required. + Reports defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions or completed products that are not in compliance with company and/or customer specifications to the Department Lead or Supervisor + Completes all necessary paperwork as required, including hourly production and scrap sheets + Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations Requirements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS + Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of hand tools, ability to understand mechanical processes + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and instructions and work instructions, and procedure manuals EDUCATION + High school Diploma LOCATION + Onsite SCHEDULE + M-F WORK ENVIRONMENT + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
