Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator II - 2nd Shift. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 2:30pm to 11:00pm. The rate for this position is $21.26 per hour. What you’ll do: Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/pressesTroubleshoot various machinery problemsIdentify and tag tubs according to shop ordersQC and document all parts run on machinesRetrieve and enter data into the SAP computer systemInventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely productionKeep work areas clean and safeOther various duties and responsibilities as may be assignedQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorshipNo relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-duty military service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with forming or bending machinesExperience reading drawings or blueprintsExperience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.Skills:Position Criteria:
Able to operate machinery and presses safelyAble to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawingsAble to identify different gauges and types of raw materialAble to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipersAble to work effectively and productively as a member of a team with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements:
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shifts.Able to lift and bend continuouslyAble to regularly lift 35 pounds with or without accommodation.Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.Working Conditions:
