Job Title: Machine Operator III
Pay: $21.47 per hour
Shift Hours:
Steel Toe Shoes Required.
Must be Fully Cleared Prior to Start.
Top 3 Must-Haves: Forklift Experience Experience in the Corrugated Industry Safety/PPE Knowledge
Key Responsibilities: Operate Hogger, Shredder, and Unitizer daily as directed by the Shipping Supervisor. Maintain good housekeeping practices. Occasionally operate Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) with various attachments safely to handle products. Visually inspect finished products and provide feedback to machine operators to improve/maintain quality. Manipulate manual hand tools. Lift and carry raw materials and production supplies up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Stack and sort dunnage sheets. Perform machine cleanup tasks as assigned by the Supervisor. Complete weekly machine start-up tasks as directed by the Supervisor. Report machine and PIT issues as necessary.
Required Qualifications: Safe Work Practices certification (annual training) Lockout/Tagout certification (annual training) Ability to communicate effectively with team members in a noisy work environment. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Follow verbal instructions from Supervisors. Quick thinking and action in a fast-paced production environment. Basic math skills to count production quantities, measure raw materials, and finished products.

Environmental Conditions: Controlled environment with noise from refrigeration equipment and other production machinery.
