• Set up machines (recipes, changeover) to start a production run
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Load and stage raw materials semi-automated machines
• Complete all production and quality paperwork as required
• Able to troubleshoot machine issues during the shift
• Effectively communicate issues to lead or supervisor
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Keep area clean and maintained around machine
• Complete all required safety and quality training (i.e. LOTO, GMPs)
• Count inventory to maintain accurate consumption
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the associate must be physically able to operate a variety of
machinery and equipment. The associate is often required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or
balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to elevate to heights of 30 feet or higher and lift up to 75
pounds. Must be able to push up to 400 lbs. Must have the ability to stand for the duration of shift. Must also be
always aware of surrounding environment and conditions.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The
associate is also exposed to varying weather elements, frequently exposed to hot and humid temperatures. The
noise level in the work environment is usually noisy. Some floors may be wet and slippery, so proper footwear is
required.
