Job Description

The Machine Operator Lead plays a dual role in overseeing machine operations and performing routine maintenance and minor repairs. This position ensures equipment runs efficiently while leading a team to meet production goals in a safe and compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of machine operators to achieve daily production targets.Operate, monitor, and adjust machinery to maintain peak performance.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machinery to minimize downtime.Conduct small mechanical repairs and coordinate major repairs as needed.Train team members on machine operation, safety standards, and maintenance practices.Maintain accurate production and maintenance logs.Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Work Experience

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.Minimum 3 years of experience as a machine operator, with maintenance experience required.Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a team.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of machine maintenance, small repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Familiarity with workplace safety standards and procedures.
