Machine Operator - Level 2 - 1st shift
As a Machine Operator - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines in our manufacturing facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Anniston, AL. In this role, you will impact the production process by operating machines, monitoring their performance, and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal output. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance on the machines to keep them in good working condition. Business Hours: 5:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. - 4X10 (Monday - Thursday) Applicant must pass a military background check from the Anniston Army Depot KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Operate machines according to standard operating procedures + Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments + Perform routine maintenance on machines + Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards + Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues + Plan and execute machine set-ups + Make adjustments and modifications to machines + Perform manufacturing sequences and inspections in various skill areas, including Minster Press, Laser Cutter, Laser Welder, Resistance Welder, and assembly processes + Utilize lifting devices and powered equipment to move, deliver, load, and unload materials, parts, stock, and supplies + Visually inspect completed work and use precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL In addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
