Machine Operator (Night shift)

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator (Night shift) for our Pinckneyville facility. The shift hours are 3:30 pm -12:00 am, Monday - Friday. Overtime may exceed these hours and can be mandatory at times. The rate for this position is $21.40 per hour, plus a $0.40/ hour shift differential. Please note that the salary information shown above is only a general guideline. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market and business considerations. 

What you’ll do: Safely run, monitor, and adjust one reticulator per the training guidelines. Throw off and stack materialMeasure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.Inspect completed workpieces for defects, utilizing Workmanship Standards, accurately document results, and complete inspection logRead and interpret engineering drawings and work orders to determine specificationsDemonstrated proficiency in die selection, setting of dies, and making adjustmentsDemonstrated knowledge of dies, press, feed system, and product characteristicsDemonstrated proficiency in the identification of machine and product issues, root cause analysis and problem-solving, development, and implementation of corrective actionTest and adjust the machine using gauges and hand toolsPossess forklift license and demonstrated ability to handle material with forkliftTrain others as necessary.   Qualifications:

Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the futureNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Pinckneyville, IL will be considered. (Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation).
