This position reports to

Production Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

Run variety of similar machines (Threading, Reaming, Turning, Forming) at times with another team.●\tAble to safely run variety of machines that run similarly●\tAble to adapt to changing priorities (different machine, team, product) or volume●\tAble to meet and run standards●\tIdentify machine deficiencies and bring solutions●\tPerform daily preventative machine maintenanceThis is a Monday-Thursday 10 hr shift position with over time to meet customer demands

Qualifications for the role

\tHS diploma or equivalent and 1-3 months related experience / training or combination\tAble to read and comprehend safety rules, operating/maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals●\tAble to present information to individuals/groups/clients by reports or correspondence●\tAble to add, subtract, multiply, divide whole numbers, use fractions, decimals, compute rate, ratio, and percent into bar graphs●\tAble to comprehend and communicate detailed written or verbal instruction●\tAble to solve problems in a standardized situation with some variablesPreferred Qualifications:●\tSafety conscious, 5S driven, and recommends safety corrections immediately●\t1 year certification from technical college AND 1-3 years running machines ●\tProduces excellent quality parts●\tEngaged to meet production goals regularly●\tParticipates in team initiatives yet self-motivated
