**Job Title: EDM Operator***NO INTERVIEW***** **Job Description** As an EDM Operator, you will be responsible for performing various operations on EDM machines. This includes loading and unloading parts, inspecting parts, preparing and changing electrodes, and performing preventive maintenance and minor adjustments on the machines. You will also be responsible for documenting machine operation and daily production, entering required data into the computer, and transporting parts to the appropriate location. Additionally, you will maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area, review and prepare various records, and interact with supervisors, co-workers, and other shop personnel. **Responsibilities** + Perform required operations on EDM machines, including loading and unloading parts, part inspection, and electrode preparation and changing. + Clean and perform preventive maintenance and minor adjustments on EDM machines. + Prepare logs and records to document machine operation and daily production. + Enter required data into the computer. + Move and transport parts to the appropriate location as needed. + Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area. + Receive, review, and refer to various records or reports including travelers, shift reports, SOP, safety sheets, etc. + Prepare labor sheets and non-conformance forms. + Interact and communicate with various groups and individuals including the immediate supervisor, co-workers, and other shop personnel. + Set up and switch jobs as required. + Produce more than 98% efficiency on a daily basis. + Maintain excellent attendance. + Verify all parts are conforming before signing off on traveler. + Keep track of all scrap and seek corrective action. **Essential Skills** + High School Diploma or GED + Good basic computer skills + Mechanical aptitude **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health benefits with low costs, 401k, PTO, and a Christmas bonus.
