Machine Operator Pharma Environment 2nd Shift
**Aerotek** is hiring for our client which is located in **Northbrook, IL** as they are looking to expand their **machine operating** team. This position would be working within **2nd shift hours** which at **Monday-Thursday 1pm-11:30pm** , and based off demand additional hours offered on Fridays for overtime day. This position will be responsible for set-up and operation of specialized machines within a **GMP regulated environment** . **To Apply:** _Please apply directly to this posting with an updated resume, and a Sr. Recruiter will contact you directly for further screening via phone call with 24hrs._ **Shift Schedule:** -2nd Shift: 1:00PM- 11:30PM (Monday- Thursday, Fr OT) **Pay** : - $19-21.00 per hour (Based off experience and interview with department supervisor) **Location** : Northbrook, IL **Position Title:** Machine Operator **Job Duties Summary:** - Assisting in setting the daily schedule, priorities, and task delegation. - Supervise and setup machines (microarrayers, change over, troubleshooting, reject/defective products for daily operations to run and produce products) - Monitor team members for quality production output using PLC controls, routine quality inspection checks, integrity testing, visual inspections etc. - Monitor number of rejected product for defect during quality check and notify management team. - Performed data entry into the ERP (Oracle and Oracal) on regular basis. - Follow work instructions, product specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs) to perform key responsibilities and maintain quality data. - Utilize lab equipment such as pipettes, centrifuges, Bio-safety cabinet (BSC) and degas system to provide material to run Microarrayers. - Perform Equipment preventative maintenance as required. - Perform quarterly maintenance activities (such as cleaning the cleanrooms) - Follow the designated GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), Safety, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards. - Follow daily and weekly lab cleaning routines (utilizing 5S) - Meet daily production goals and minimize downtime. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** - experience working in a FDA approved cleanroom (GMP regulated) - high attention to detail - experience with mechanical set-up on machines, and calibration preferred. - experience working within GMP guidelines and wearing GMP PPE **To Apply:** _Please apply directly to this posting with an updated resume, and a Sr. Recruiter will contact you directly for further screening via phone call with 24hrs._ **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
