Adecco is currently seeking a Machine Operator/Slicer, in Rochester, NY. To be considered for this Machine Operator/Slicer position, candidates must have a minimum of 2-years previous direct experience in manufacturing environment. The Machine Operator/Slicer will be responsible for operating and maintaining slicing machines to cut materials, such as metal or composite, into precise shapes and sizes. This position involves following technical drawings and specifications, ensuring quality, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the work area. **Responsibilities of the Machine Operator/Slicer:** · Set up and operate slicing machines to cut materials according to exact specifications and dimensions. · Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machine settings and adjustments. · Monitor machine operations and inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications. · Adjust machine settings, as necessary, to achieve the desired quality. · Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on slicing machinery. · Document production logs, including quantities produced, time taken, and any issues encountered. · Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following company policies and safety guidelines. **·** Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes and efficiency. **Requirements of the Machine Operator/Slicer:** · High school diploma or GED; additional technical training in machining or relevant field is preferred. · Previous experience operating slicing or other precision cutting machinery. · Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail. · Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. · Basic math and measurement skills, including knowledge of tolerances and quality control measures. · Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work in manufacturing environments. · Basic knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing setting. · Excellent teamwork and communication skills Click apply to be considered for this Machine Operator/Slicer position in Rochester, NY! **Pay Details:** $18.00 to $20.00 per week Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
