**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** Set up machines for production, both within PLC and with mechanical parameters. Identify and diagnose quality issues, finding the root cause of problems. Make mechanical adjustments to equipment including conveying systems. **Responsibilities** + Set up machines for production, both within PLC and with mechanical parameters. + Identify and diagnose quality issues, finding the root cause of problems. + Make mechanical adjustments to equipment including conveying systems. + Troubleshoot quality issues and make necessary changes to equipment to ensure product flows smoothly and the finished product is up to standard. **Essential Skills** + Experience with mechanical machine operating (mold press, injection molding, press operating, CNC). + Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and make necessary adjustments. + Mechanical aptitude and ability to make mechanical adjustments to equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Track record of being mechanically inclined through interests, hobbies, or previous jobs in maintenance or machine operation. + Problem-solving mindset to get to the root cause of issues. **Why Work Here?** + The company is stable with a diverse business mix in the paper/plastic consumables industry. It is climate-controlled and offers extensive training as the learning curve to run the machines can take some time. **Job Type & Location** + This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.75 - $24.75/hr.
