You will start as a helper, performing various tasks such as stacking, moving, or helping operators, and gradually learning more complex tasks. **Responsibilities** + Learn to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of converting equipment. + Effectively learn and apply established quality control procedures. + Execute position responsibilities as they pertain to the assigned work center. + Read and follow order specification documents. + Consistently work to develop or enhance skill set. + Work effectively with co-workers and establish a team approach to achieve company goals and expectations. + Follow all company rules and policies. + Successfully work in multiple areas of the converting plant and perform to expectations. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and write English. + Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new skills within a standard timeline. + Comfortable around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to perform mentally and physically at a high pace while maintaining company expectations for safety, quality, and productivity. + Basic math knowledge and ability to read a tape measure. + Strong attention to detail. + Ability to work overtime. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must be at least 18 years old. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Authorized to work in the U.S. + Pass drug screen and physical abilities test. **Why Work Here?** We offer a family-owned and operated work environment with ample opportunities for growth. The work involves operating and assisting with various machines, including 112" Multiflute Corrugator, 62" Single Face Laminator, Rotary Die Cutters, Flexo Folder Gluers, Platten Diecutters, and Specialty Folder Gluers. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr.
