**Machine Operator** **Pay** : $17-21/hour **Hours** : 1st shift 7AM to 7PM & 2nd shift &PM to 7AM **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Day Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing job jackets with team members, organizing and maintaining roll stock for presses, and setting up and operating roll stands. You will safely operate pallet jack and or forklifts to move paper rolls, paper waste, and printed cartons, among other tasks. Maintaining accurate records of allocated board and effectively managing and reporting board waste and damage are essential aspects of this role. **Responsibilities** + Review job jacket with team members. + Organize and maintain roll stock for presses. + Set up and operate roll stand. + Safely operate clamp truck and forklift to move paper rolls, paper waste, printed cartons, etc. + Maintain accurate records of allocated board. + Effectively manage and report board waste and damage. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Assist during downtime and MR’s as directed by Operators. + Perform duties and responsibilities of Press Catcher as needed, including correctly jogging and palletizing quality WIP (Work in Process) product from the press, monitoring print and cut quality of cartons, and performing basic maintenance on press. **Skills** + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Ability to troubleshoot issues. + Good communication skills. + Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions. + Basic math skills. **Qualifications** + Minimum of 2-3 years of machine operating experience + Experience performing machine change overs and set up _If this position isn’t quite what you’re looking for, feel free to apply anyway!
