Machine Operator (Wheel Plant)

Basic Qualifications:

Training will be provided to the selected candidate! Entry level candidates encouraged to apply! Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. High School Diploma, GED, or 1 year of work experience 

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years’ work experience  Manufacturing experience Data entry/computer skills

Position Summary: This entry level role will be responsible for manufacturing environment and safely operate production equipment to meet quality and production targets. Training will be provided.

Essential Duties:

Follows all safety procedures Operates one or more pieces of equipment in a safe and efficient manner to produce quality products while keeping a quick pace Performs compliance checks and completes paperwork, documentation, and reports Visually inspects wheels for defects or malformations Ensures the quality of the parts that he/she produces - including the inspection of all dimensional requirements according to the control plan and overall appearance of the parts Completes required paperwork Participates in TPM activities Ensures that 5S requirements are met Assists in problem solving of identified problems in the department
