Job details We are looking for experienced Machine Operators for our manufacturing client in Morrisville, NC. The Machine Operator will be primarily responsible for running a card cutting machine, ensuring all equipment continues to run efficiently, and loading/unloading materials as the machine runs. The Machine Operator should demonstrate a good attention to detail as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues. This position has 2 shifts available -
Day: 7am to 7pm, 2-3-2 rotating schedule
Night: 7pm to 7am, 2-3-2 rotating schedule

Pay rate depends on shift

Responsibilities:
- Measures from edge of sheet using scale to determine incremental cutting positions from guide.
- Removes sheets of printed paper stack from the load and places them on the cutter board.
- Jogs and aligns sheets as the cutter guide in preparation for cutting.
- Proactively runs jobs under regular supervision in cutting high-quality products using equipment in meeting customer requirements and total customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for performing machine make readies, achieving department run speed standards, productivity efficiencies cost and quality standards that support operational excellence.
- Ensures product matches the signed proof/sample throughout the run.
- Pulls, inspects, and files on-the-run sample sheets.
- Records and documents all required paperwork and/or forms for each production run.
- Applies basic working knowledge of cutting techniques working on various substrates, plastics, coated and uncoated stocks.
- Diagnoses problems, makes adjustments, troubleshoots, and provides the required preventative maintenance and repairs on the equipment in a timely manner.
- Possesses the ability to troubleshoot and correct more basic to routine mechanical and/or equipment problems.

Working hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
