What You'll Do as a Machine Operator :

Operate various machines, such as straighteners, peelers, polishers, and coil processing equipment to produce stainless steel bars according to specifications.Monitor machine performance and identify any issues or malfunctions.Make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal machine operation and product quality.Inspect finished products to verify compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.Report any defects or non-conformities to the appropriate personnel.Perform basic machine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments.Assist with preventive maintenance activities.Assist with other tasks as assigned, such as material handling, inventory management, and housekeeping.

Work Experience

The Preferred Candidate Might:

High school diploma or equivalent.Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Previous experience utilizing hand and power toolsAbility to accurately read a tape measureAbility to use calipers or micrometersAbility to follow written and verbal instructions.Strong attention to detail and quality control.Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.Ability to work 12-hour shifts
