Starting pay for Machine Repair position is $34.48 per hour and will receive contractual increases as outlined in the contract.  This role may be called one of the following at another company: Technician, Mechanic, Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance & Repair, Maintainer.

Crown currently has openings for Machine Repair technicians at our Dayton, OH facility. Here is your opportunity to help on the Dayton team that manufactures millions of beverage can ends per day. The Machine Repair duties include:

Responsible for the mechanical performance of line and standard production output Diagnoses or troubleshoots machines or equipment to determine malfunctions and the need for adjustment or repair. Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment.  Lubricates and cleans parts, installs, moves, sets-up and operates all types of equipment and machine tools.  Performs any dismantling, fitting or assembly work required for maintenance. Reads blue prints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine type and dimensions of stock required.
