**Adecco is seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Shop Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and adjust various NC/CNC lathes and machining centers to produce high-quality parts within required tolerances. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills and advance to the Machinist classification with the guidance of experienced Machinists and Lead personnel. If you are interested in this position please read the summary and qualifications below.** **Position:** Machine Shop Operator **Type:** Direct Hire (Permanent Position) **Location:** Mayville, WI (53050) **Shift:** 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (with mandatory overtime as needed, including potential Saturday shifts) **Pay Rate:** $22.37 per hour **Key Responsibilities** + **Blueprint Reading:** Accurately read and interpret blueprints to produce parts within specified tolerances. _Note: Candidates must pass a blueprint reading test. This will be administered during the interview._ + **Quality Assurance:** Perform first-piece inspections and ongoing inspections to ensure the quality of all parts produced. + **Routine Maintenance:** Conduct routine maintenance of machines and maintain a clean and organized work area. + **Safety Compliance:** Adhere to all safety regulations regarding machine operation and proper guarding. + **Reporting:** Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety metrics. **Qualifications** + **Diploma/GED.** + **1-2 years of previous machine operation or machinist experience.** + **Tools & Equipment:** Must possess and be able to use micrometers and dial calipers to ensure the quality of produced parts.
