Machine Shop Operator
**Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for working with your hands?** Join Adecco and take your first step towards a rewarding career in machining! **In this role, you'll be responsible for:** + Operating, setting up, and adjusting NC/CNC lathes and machining centers to produce high-quality parts. + Reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure parts meet exact specifications (passing a blueprint test is required). + Maintaining quality control by performing first-piece and ongoing inspections. + Completing routine machine maintenance and keeping your work area clean and organized. + Following all safety protocols and maintaining accurate records on productivity, quality, and safety. **We're looking for someone who:** + Can read and understand blueprints. + Has experience using micrometers and dial calipers for precision measurement. + Possesses strong visual acuity (corrected). + Has good manual dexterity for machine operation. + Enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on environment. + Can maintain a clean and safe work area. + Is a team player with a strong work ethic. + Can lift up to 30 lbs frequently. + Has excellent communication and reading skills. **This is your chance to:** + Learn from experienced machinists and develop your skills towards a rewarding career in machining. + Earn a competitive starting wage of $22.37 per hour with a chance to earn a New Hire Incentive Bonus of $1,000!
