Job Title: Machine Shop ForemanJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Shop Foreman who has experience in CNC setup, operation, and programming. The Machine Shop Foreman will oversee a team of 9 machinists working on Haas equipment, including 7 Haas machines, and will program using MasterCam.

ResponsibilitiesOversee all machine shop operations and personnel.Ensure compliance with company QC requirements and safety regulations.Monitor the timeline of product and customer needs, ensuring deadlines are met.Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.Evaluate and improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and enhancing quality standards.Correspond with suppliers, customers, and research and development staff as needed.Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; complete technical studies; prepare cost estimates.Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.Essential SkillsCNC setup, operation, and programming.Experience with Haas mills and lathes.Proficiency in MasterCam programming.Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as micrometers, depth gauges, and height gauges.Mechanically inclined with practical knowledge of CNC machining.Experience in manual machining, including mills and lathes.Strong supervisory and management skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications5-10 years of experience in machining/manufacturing.Ability to troubleshoot and perform edits on PLCs, HMIs, and robotic automation.Proficiency with mechanical drawings and floor layouts.Strong team spirit and excellent customer service skills.Excellent teaching and coaching skills.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $93600.00 - $114400.00
