**NOW HIRING: MACHINE TECHNICIANS** **1ST SHIFT - 6AM-6PM, 22,33 shift.** **Pay: $20-25/hr** **MULTIPLE OPENINGS** **Job Description** We are a printing manufacturer in Mt. Pleasant, IA. Our plants are responsible for producing millions of envelopes, custom cards, and other printing services on a weekly basis. We are seeking Machine Adjustors to perform routine and preventative care on our plant equipment. Qualified candidates should be mechanically inclined with a natural "fixer mindset" and experience using hand and power tools. Extensive training will be provided for the older machinery on the plant floor. **Responsibilities** + Read instructions from job tickets and set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and maintain envelope converting equipment according to safety, quality, and production guidelines. + Operate machines for trial runs and measure dimensions of the product to ensure conformance to specifications. + Troubleshoot and perform scheduled and emergency maintenance repairs. + Accurately log repairs and production information. + Set up converting machines to produce envelopes that match design specifications provided on the job tickets and artwork. + Monitor the converting equipment during production runs to ensure quality and maximize productivity. + Direct the Machine Operator in various stages of machine start-up, changes, and quality and productivity standards. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Mechanical aptitude + 2+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally with troubleshooting and basic preventative maintenance experience + Blueprint reading + Machine set-up + Changeover + Production + Drill press operation + Hydraulics + Electrical knowledge **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2+ years of troubleshooting or mechanical tinkering experience + GED required **APPLY DIRECTLY TO POST IF INTERESTED OR TEXT 319 720 3461** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
