What You Will Do:
Oversee planning, organizing, and scheduling maintenance for the shop including machine inspections and unplanned repairs.Support multiple business units and understand customer requirements, priorities, and space limitations.Lead an hourly, union workforce to ensure proper function of machines including: Setting day-to-day goals, objectives, and schedules and managing payroll and training.Utilizing SAP to enter, view, and modify work orders.Coordinate contractors to support Maintenance & Repair initiatives and Manufacturing Cell Transformations through: generating purchase orders, pre-jobs, and communications for each job and rearrangement of new and existing equipment. Ensure resources are readily available to address planned and unplanned downtime.Communicate baseline plan month in excel or MS Project.Review inspection and alignment reports and respond as necessary.Create and manage action plans for repairs and machinery relocations.Supporting digital factory initiatives that enable our future maintenance strategy.Comprehensive understanding of both OSHA General Industry and OSHA Construction Industry including NFPA 70E and requirements for live electrical and mechanical work.Strategize and implement risk reduction initiatives for critical manufacturing equipment associated with component obsolesce and smart, predictive maintenance systems.Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory role/military supervisory experience and maintenance/manufacturing or project management experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.US citizenship required due to government contracts.Qualifications We Prefer:
Able to work with and effectively communicate with all levels of employees in the organization, both hourly and salary, union and non-union.Machine Tool experience.Strong Project Management. Record of overcoming obstacles with limited resources in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Demonstrated record of maintaining good logistic controls, emotional intelligence, and teaming abilities.Able to prioritize tasks and plan workload effectively.Strong familiarity with ACE/CORE tools and processes preferred.Contractor Coordinator & OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety & Health certification.Learn More & Apply Now:
