Machinery Estimator
Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our projects through precise cost estimation and strong relationship management. As an Estimator, you will gather information, analyze key metrics, and provide insightful cost and benefit analyses that support profitable business decisions. Your role will be integral in ensuring our projects are both profitable and of the highest quality. - Understand the project/program and its requirements in detail. - Identify key variables for cost and other estimates. - Gather first-hand information from various sources including sites and warehouses. - Conduct thorough research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times, etc. - Utilize software tools for data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. - Obtain and review offers and quotes from subcontractors and vendors. - Perform comprehensive risk analysis. - Create and submit detailed estimate reports or bids to project managers, clients, and for bidding competitions. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors including subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers. - Provide expert consultation on project planning, including schedules and manpower needs.
