Your tasks:

• Leading the Front Loading process (including simultaneous engineering) from product development through casting / machining component design to the development of machining concepts. Machining component design taking into account the subsequent processes and ZF quality standards.

• Carrying out development meetings, machining concept technical reviews prior to series nomination, technological support and process development up to series production of machining parts.

• Introduction of  machining concepts with affected areas and suppliers with focus on functional, manufacturing, qualitative and economic aspects.

• Conducting negotiations with foundries and tool /equipment/fixture makers under best practice aspects, especially with regard to quality, supply and economic efficiency.

• Coordination and implementation of national and international, strategic supplier development projects (preventive) or operational task force support from machining concept side.

• Participation in part family strategies, support in solving technology and quality problems

• Coordination with purchasing and the decentralized factory quality departments

• Cooperation with the supplier management within the House of Competence Casting at the worldwide locations.
