You will work both in an office and manufacturing shop-floor environment.
Domestic relocation is available for this position.
What You Will Do:
Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
Monitoring equipment and process reliability; identifying and addressing problem areas.
Providing coaching and development for operations technical staff and support areas.
Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.
Address issues related to processing, programming, tool design, standards development and application, acquisition of tools and equipment, layout, material composition, and machining planning.
Provide standard tool life for each cutting tool.
Create NC programs using CAM software, perform simulations, and transfer them to the machining center.

Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
Manufacturing Equipment: Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update and store them.
Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.
Manufacturing Safety: Knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site.
Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies: Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
Problem Management Process - MFG: Knowledge of manufacturing problem management processes, methodologies and techniques; ability to use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution.
What Will Set You Apart:
Educational Background: A minimum of an associate or diploma's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of experience or university degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years’ experience. Preferably, prior experience working in a manufacturing environment, particularly in heavy industries with machining processes.
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is required.
Experienced and knowledgeable in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Numerical Controls (NC) programming, and cutting tools selection and optimization.
Skilled in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as Creo and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programming like NX.
Familiar with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process.
Physical Requirements (With or Without Reasonable Accommodation):
This job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment.
