Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Machining Process Engineer for an Engine Plant in Romulus, MI. This person will be responsible for the manufacturing processes of prismatics (square non-rotating parts, valve bodies, solenoid bodies). Tolerances are very tight so this role will require tooling understanding; strong gaging; reading of CMM reports; process troubleshooting; part fixturing concepts; and picture process sheets/process flow concepts, from cradle to grave. You will pull CMM reports using QDAS to calculate machine moves, offsets, etc. They will also be process troubleshooting, frequent GD&T, and production line gaging. This engineer will be supporting production of one launch that is through its saleable build phase and another launch that begins in March 2025.
