**Job Title: Quality Inspector**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will participate in the execution of our current Quality Management System and all QC adopted processes and procedures. You will be responsible for interrogating supplied models using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and performing various inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and manual measuring tools.
**Responsibilities**
+ Participate in the execution of the current Quality Management System.
+ Execute all QC adopted processes and procedures.
+ Interrogate supplied model using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software for open setup and/or CMM inspections.
+ Interrogate customer documents (drawings, specifications, parts list, etc.) for open setup and/or CMM inspections.
+ Perform first piece inspections and report results on approved forms.
+ Perform in-process inspections and report results on approved forms.
+ Perform final inspections and report results on approved forms.
+ Use established recordkeeping system for the proper storage of common QC data generated.
+ Follow guidelines in the 'Digital Manufacturing File Maintenance' manual (DMFM).
+ Program, set up, and operate various Coordinate Measuring Machines.
+ Perform open setup inspections using manual measuring tools.
+ Compile and maintain inspection reports and records.
+ Report to management on quality issues, trends, and losses.
+ Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by supervisor.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to operate CNC machines, mills, and lathes.
+ Proficient in using measuring equipment.
+ Detail-oriented.
+ Self-motivated and able to work independently.
+ Organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma (Required).
+ Continuing Studies and Certificate Programs (Desired but not required).
+ College Degree (Bonus).
+ Previous Job Experience (Desired but not required).
+ Valid Maryland driver’s license (Required).

**Work Environment**
You will be working in a small machine shop located in White Marsh, which is not climate controlled and can be a dirty environment. The shop operates on a first shift and has about 40 employees. As a job shop, you will run multiple setups for different customers.
