Overview:
As the CNC Machinist you will support part setup in our Machining Department, including producing machined parts by programming and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.

Pay range $35/hr - $45/hr based on experienceAdditional 10% premium for 2nd Shift and additional 5% premium for 3rd ShiftRogue Team Members eligible to receive Quarterly Bonus*

Responsibilities:

Setup and operate CNC machines in a safe manner to perform machine functions on metal work piecesTake apart and reverse engineer partsMeasure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixturesMount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instrumentsStop machines to remove finished work pieces, or to change tooling, setup, or work piece placement, according to required machining sequencesMonitor machine operation and control panel displays, and compare readings to specifications in order to detect malfunctionsClean machines, tooling, and parts, using solvents or solutions and rags

Qualifications:

5-10+ years CNC machining/programming experienceFixture building experience is requiredMust read G-code and have CNC programming experienceMust have a positive attitude and work well with othersHigh School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is requiredMust be able to lift 80 poundsExperience reading engineering drawings to quality check work is required
