Position Summary:
Machinist will setup, operate and trouble shoot various types of machines and equipment used in producing parts and components.
Major Responsibilities:
Setup and operate various manual and N/C machinesComplex setups and close tolerances according to blueprint Layout and setup of equipmentTrain others on various machinesUse of various measuring devices and fixturingManage tool inventory; Set, adjust and maintain tools; and modify/develop new programsOperate forklift or jib crane as needed to support material placementQualifications:

High School diploma or GED5+ years’ machining experienceExperience with all types of toolingMust be able to read complex blueprintsStrong math skillsMust be willing and able to work any shiftPreferred:
Associate of Applied Science in Precision Machining TechnologyKnowledge of various CNC controls: Okuma, Mazak, Fanuc, ..etcMachining certificate3+ years’ in a manufacturing environmentFunctional Requirements:
