**Job Title: Machinist/Optics Technician $25-30+HR** **Job Description** Individual hired for this role will learn to be proficient in machining, inspecting, and cleaning small optics. Responsible for operating optics finishing machines in a production environment and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality outcomes. **Responsibilities** + Operate CNC equipment to machine optical components using SPDM (Single Point Diamond Turning) + Perform quality checks and adjust cutting parameters to achieve optimal performance + Maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure proper functioning of equipment + Conduct product inspections to ensure precision tolerances are met + Process and maintain accurate production logs and tracking documents + Maintain a clean and orderly working environment **Essential Skills** + 2+ years' experience in machining + Experience performing quality checks on finishing products/assemblies + Experience maintaining/troubleshooting equipment and machines **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Optical inspection experience **Work Environment** This position operates in a production environment with a shift from 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM. The role requires handling CNC equipment and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
